Drained but feeling good about it.

So it's been a busy week, hence the lack of updating since Sunday. Monday was my first day of class and i was very relieved to see that bit was exactly what i was hoping for. The instructors are very motivated and appear to seriously care about the knowledge of their students. So far it has been a lot of terminology and introduction to basics as far as human anatomy and motion.  The first 3 1/2 hours are theory, which takes place in your typical classroom setting. The remaining two hours after lunch are practical application where we break off in partners and take turns working as trainer and client. We won't be getting into it too seriously until about week 3 after we've covered how to formulate a workout and a long term plan for a client. We were evaluated and trained today by the students already halfway through the course however. It gives them actual experience dealing with a complete stranger as a client and allows us to see what we will be learning shortly and how we are to conduct ourselves by the courses teachings. It was a good session that seemed to go by in no time at all. The trainer i had wrote up a workout that left me feeling like i'd gotten my ass kicked afterwards. I am definately looking forward to the point where i will be doing training on my own and i can go home. Already missing MD and everyone from it a lot.
